We are the Alameda Boys and Girls Club, the positive place for kids. Our mission is to inspire and enable all youth, especially those from disadvantaged cicumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring people. We are here to help our youth by providing them with hands on motivational programming that will positively affect our youth's future in becoming good people in our communities.
While we work to build our new facility, we are currently operating as the West Alameda Teen Club at the Esperanza Community Center and at Chipman Middle School’s multi-purpose facility.
Our hours of operation at the Esperanza Community Center are:
Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays: 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Tuesdays & Thursdays: 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Our hours of operation at Chimpan Middle School are:
Tuesdays & Thursdays: 12:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Plans to build a new 25,000 square foot Youth Development Center in West Alameda are in the making thanks to community support. For more information on this new facility, please email us at wecanbuildit@alamedabgc.org
